Mangalore, Oct 29: A 17-year-old girl committed suicide on Saturday night after her parents opposed her love relationship with a boy.

Vasantha Lakshma the daughter of Vishwamitra Hegde of Sirsi who was studying Fashion Designing in one of the prestigious colleges of Mangalore was found dead on the railway track here on Sunday.

According to sources, Vasantha was in love with a boy and this relationship was opposed by her parents.
