Kundapur, Oct 29: An unmarried couple couple, Sukumaran (40) and Geeta (30), hailing from Kozhikode in Kerala, were found dead in a private lodging house near the Kollur Shri Mookambika temple, after having ended their lives in despair.
Police sources said that the mand and the woman, in love for four years, arrived at Kollur on October 27 and they were dismayed over the refusal of both families to their marriage.
Both of them are said to have been employed in a sweet stall in Kozhikode. They appeared to have come to a suicide pact and ended their lives in a distant place.
When the last report came, the girl's family members had arrived at Kollur to claim the body, while the boy's relatives were yet to come.
