Two killed in bus-truck collision in Uttar Pradesh


Lucknow, Oct 30 (IANS): Two people were killed Thursday in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow city when the bus in which they were travelling collided with a truck, police said.

More than half a dozen people were injured in the accident which took place near Chinhat, police said.

Gomtinagar Circle Police Officer Satyasen Yadav told IANS that the bus was going to Ajmer city when it rammed into a truck. The Faizabad national highway was jammed for several hours after the accident.
