Kuwait : 'Indian Cultural carnival' on Nov 7


Kuwait, Nov 4 : “Indian Cultural Carnival” with Rock star Hard Kaur and Comedy ka Tadka Dadi and Palak at Entertaintment City, Doha Kuwait.


After a grand success of “Jai Ho – Sukhwinder Singh Live in Concert” and recent “Shukraan Ya Kuwait - Benny Dayal Unplugged Live Concert ” Apna Bharat Society – Kuwait is all set to make the much awaited event “Indian Cultural Carnival” with rock star Hard Kaur and famous comedian Dadi (Ali Asgar) and Palak (Kiku Sharda) on 7th of November 2014 at Entertainment City Doha , Kuwait.

From "Jai Ho - Sukhwinder Singh Live In Concert" to support Apnalaya Mumbai, Apna Bharat Society are again ready to contribute their efforts for Jammu & Kashmir relief fund for flood effected people.


Taran Kaur Dhillon (born 29 July 1979), known by her stage name Hard Kaur, is a British Indian rapper and hip hop singer; as well as playback singer and actress in Bollywood. She is often credited to be the first female Indian rapper.

Hard Kaur was born Taran Kaur Dhillon in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, She recorded the song "Ek Glassy" and was top for the UK then in 2007 rapped for Sriram Raghavan's movie Johnny Gaddaar's song "Paisa Phek (Move Your Body)." Since then she has sung in movies like Ugly Aur Pagli ("Talli"), Singh Is Kinng, Kismat Konnection, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, and Prince.

Kaur was the first female rapper to perform at Live Earth India, 2008. Her first solo album Supawoman was released in 2007

In 2008 Hard Kaur was nominated for two awards at the UK Asian Music Awards: "Best Urban Act" and "Best Female Act" She won "Best Female Act".

In October 2012, Hard Kaur released her second music album titled Party Loud All Year: P.L.A.Y. The album, produced in collaboration with Sony music, featured ten songs, all of which were written and composed by her.The most successful song of the album was Mujhe peeney do.

Ali Asgar known as a famous character of the most popular show Comedy Nights With Kapil on Colors. He is famous as supporting actor and played roll in more than 200 movies and TV serials. He has performed many supporting roles in many Bollywood movies during the 1990s. In the 2000s, he did supporting roles in many popular movies. In 2004, he performed as Deepak in Aitbaar and as Rahul in Stop! He later performed in Partner (2007) and Sunday (2008). His most recent film was Tees Maar Khan which released on 24 December 2010.

He has worked as a comedian in many Indian films (Bollywood) and television. He was the winner of the Comedy Circus 1, a television comedy series with Kashif Khan, and ofComedy circus ke taansen with Kapil Sharma. He is popular for his role as Kamal Agarwal in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki.


Kiku Sharda is an Indian comedian, film and television actor. He plays the character of Constable Mulayam Singh Gulgule in F.I.R. Currently he is working in Comedy Nights with Kapil where he plays various characters which known as Palak and Lachaa.
He has done lots of movies and his recently movie was Happy New year with Sharukh Khan.

The other attraction of the event will be Hindi oldies by Kuwait's Kishore Kumar fame Mubarak Al Rashed Al Aazmi. Born in a Kuwaiti family, Mubarak is a young man gifted with an extraordinary talent. He sings, but unlike other Arabs he sings in Hindi in an almost perfect diction with an almost perfect intonation. He love to sing songs of the legendary Kishore Kumar which made him popular as "Kuwait's Kishore Kumar". 

The evening will also introduce the super Dancing Divas kids, Ballerine's Kids local & real talents from Kuwait They will be performing on different- different dance forms.
