New Delhi (Daily Bhaskar): The Aam Aadmi Party’s desperation to regain power in Delhi was visible on Friday as the party put Prime Minister Narendra Modi's image with a slogan 'Delhi speaks: Modi for PM, Arvind for CM' to seek votes for AAP's national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in the coming Delhi Assembly elections.
The AAP put a banner on its website with a photo of the Prime Minister and a message - “People in Delhi have made up their mind. They wanted a strong PM and elected Modi ji for PM. They want a strong CM in Delhi to fix corruption, price-rise, take tough decisions to improve schools, hospitals, transport issues. They now want Arvind Kejriwal for CM. Please watch the view of the Delhiites.”
The contentious banner was uploaded alongwith a video titled - 'Delhi speaks: Modi for PM, Arvind for CM' – which showed Delhiites saying that they have chosen Narendra Modi as PM and now they want Arvind as their CM.

However, the party later removed the banner and video after an outrage on social media. Coming into damage control mode, party leader Dilip Pandey said that the picture was uploaded 'by mistake.'
Pandey tweeted: "Most of d thngs in .@AamAadmiParty r voluntr driven. Web is also one whr a voluntr creatd & postd tht non-approvd img by mistake. Pl ignore! (sic)"
It may be recalled here that Arvind had made huge allegations during the Lok Sabha Elections against the then PM candidate Narendra Modi.
