Panaji, Nov 5: New York-based fashion designer Sanjana Jon, who has coupled with Miss Universe Zuleyka Rivera on her India tour, has filed a formal complaint against Air Deccan at Goa airport.

Jon has expressed ire over the Saturday afternoon incident in which Miss Universe and her entourage was not able to take air Deccan Bangalore flight after a confusion at the airport. The confusion had forced the entire Miss Universe team along with Sanjana Jon to stay back in Goa for another day.

“There was a confusion over luggage and the Air Deccan staff was rude to us,” stated the complaint addressed to the airport manager. Though the complaints does not speak of any compensation, Sanjana has named a senior Air Deccan officer for behaving rude with them.

“We will forward the complaint to higher-ups in Air Deccan for further action,” airport officials stated.

Miss universe was down in Goa on a three-day tour as a part of AIDS awareness programme and participated in the fashion show organized by F TV at Baga beach.

The organizers, F TV, toned down the entire controversy. “There were some slip-ups but now everything is fixed… she is leaving tomorrow,” FTV chief operating officer Bharat Seth said on Saturday evening.
