Mangalore, Nov 7: The new premises of the Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital was opened at 5-00 pm on Tuesday, November 7 on University Road, Deralakatte on the outskirts of the city.

State minister for medical education Dr V S Acharya, MLC and former minister Blasius D'Souza, ISM&H director Dr B N Prakash and others were present on the occasion. Dr Ramjee, union minister Oscar Fernandes, MP Sadananda Gowda, state minister Nagaraj Shetty and MLA UT Fareed could not be present. FMHMCH administrator Fr Stany Tauro welcomed the gathering.

Bishop Aloysius D'Souza of Mangalore presided over the function. MLC Blasius D'Souza released the college annual magazine 'Pioneer'. The strides of progress have been made by the institutions with Dr Baptist Menezes at the helm as director.

The function was attended by a large number of people.
