Panaji, Nov 8: The annual artificial miniature Boat festival of Vitthalapur-Sankhalim was celebrated with great enthusiasm on the auspicious ocassion of Tripurari Pournima at midnight on November 6.

This year there were all together 42 miniature Boats taking part in the competition which happens to be a part of the regular-size boat festival held in the holy pond of lord Pandurang.

Thousands of people turn up at Sankhali town which around 35 kms away from the capital city to witness this colourful boat spectacle.
