Congress leader dies in Agra

Agra, Nov 13 (IANS): Veteran Congress leader Prakash Narayan Gupta, a former Uttar Pradesh minister, died here Thursday, his family said. He was 93.

Gupta, who was keeping unwell for some months, was a cooperative minister in the Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna ministry in the state.

A staunch Congressman, he did not desert the party even during its worst days post the 1975-77 Emergency.
