Bhubaneswar, Nov 13 (IANS): The sale of tickets for the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Champions Trophy to be held at the Kalinga Stadium here from Dec 6-14 has begun.
"A total of 20 outlets will be selling the FIH Champions Trophy tickets from Thursday across Bhubaneswar, that includes six Cafe Coffee Day outlets, six outlets of The Mobile Store and eight individual stores spread out across the city, hence ensuring that the tickets are easily available to the fans," Hockey India (HI) said in a release.
To entice spectators, the cheapest ticket has been priced at Rs.20 which will be for general admission while the Rs.1000 ones are for VIP seating.
Each ticket entitles the spectator to watch all matches being held in a single day. The stadium has a capacity of 7,000.
The tournament has two pools of four teams each.
India are placed in Pool B along with the Netherlands, Germany and Argentina while Pool A comprises Australia, Pakistan, England and Belgium.
India will start their campaign against Olympic champions Germany Dec 6, followed by matches against Argentina (Dec 7) and the Netherlands (Dec 9).
