Milan, Nov 14 (IANS): Colombian international Pablo Armero has launched a scathing attack on Filippo Inzaghi as the AC Milan chief coach failed to fulfil his promise.
Armero, who joined the Rossoneri on loan from Udinese this summer, Thursday said he was convinced by Inzaghi to join the Milan side, but has played just 13 minutes of Serie A this season, reports Xinhua.
"I didn't ask to go to Milan, I asked to go to a team where I could be a leader. It was Inzaghi who called and asked me to go to Milan because he said he was depending on me," the mid-fielder said.
"But so far I haven't found room in the Italian League, where I thought I'd play regularly after a good World Cup in Brazil this summer. He said 'Come here, I need you' and I thought that he really meant it."
