Journalists to meet in Lucknow


Lucknow, Nov 14 (IANS): The 68th National Council meeting of the Indian Federation of Working Journalists (IFWJ) will be held here for three days from Nov 17.

The meeting will discuss, among other issues, journalist wages, curbs on the right to information and security of journalists.

Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik and PWD Minister Shivpal Singh Yadav will address the gathering, said IFWJ secretary general Paramanand Pandey.

The session will bring together 515 journalists from 26 states.
