Nippy Friday in Delhi, misty Saturday morning likely


New Delhi, Nov 14 (IANS): The national capital experienced a chilly Friday morning followed by a pleasant and sunny afternoon as the maximum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 27.4 degrees Celsius.

Similar weather is expected Saturday, the Met Office said.

"There will be light mist early morning tomorrow (Friday) but the sky will remain clear through the day," said an India Meteorological Department official.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 28 and 10 degrees Celsius.

Friday morning saw light fog and the minimum temperature settled four notches below normal at 9.0 degrees Celsius.

The day's maximum humidity settled at 80 percent.

Thursday's maximum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 27.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 11.7 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
