Mumbai, Nov 11: The police here on Friday November 10 arrested 26-year-old Vikas Tak also known as hammer man.

Vikas used to attack his victims with a hammer before fleeing with cash. He had attacked four women in western Mumbai before being arrested.

"His arrest comes after an attack on a 30-year-old woman as she was getting out of her apartment in suburban Goregaon," said Additional Commissioner of Police (north region) Tukaram Chavan.

Tak is suspected to be involved in at least two more attacks at Jogeshwari and Goregaon, Chavan said.
