Pakistan Army chief meets US defence officials


Washington, Nov 19 (IANS): The Chief of Pakistan Army, General Raheel Sharif held talk with senior US defence officials on US-Pakistan military-to-military relations.

Gen. Sharif, whose delegation was greeted with a full honour guard at the US defence headquarters Tuesday, discussed security matters with Deputy Secretary of Defence Robert O. Work and chairman of Joint Chiefs Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey, according to a US Defense Department statement.

He also met with chief of the US Army Gen. Raymond T. Odierno and commandant of the Marine Corps Gen. Joseph F. Dunford.
