Mangalore, Nov 13: The fancy dress competition for elders as part of Kala Sangam organised by Mangalore Musical and Cultural Association (MMCA) recently saw many an enthusiastic participant.
The competition was one among many organised by MMCA at Gitanjali here. The senior citizens were inmates of Little Sisters of the Poor, a home for aged at Bajjodi here.
The enthusiasm and spirit of participation among the elderly was to be seen to be believed.
They were dressed in all colours and attires portraying policemen, captain, bishop, and even a plantain.
This was the only event in the district that had so many competitions for all categories of people, from young kids to senior citizens, housewives and professionals like doctors, bankers and others.
