Panaji, Nov 13: Preparations are going on in full swing in preparation for the forthcoming 37th International Film Festival of India, scheduled to be held in Panaji from November 23 to December 3, 2006.

The government builings are being painted, footpaths being spruced up, roads widened, street-lights maintained and stalls are being erected.

Besides the official venues - Inox Multiplex and Kala Academy - the whole of Dayanand Bandodkar street is being done up and being given a facelift.
