Mangalore, Nov 13: At a press meet held here on Monday November 13, Prof K Narayan, principal, ICFAI National College here, announced that the college will offer a PG diploma in Banking Finance and Insurance (BFI). The nine-month course will consist of 3 months of internship in IT sectors, prestigious banks, and insurance companies.
The course which will be launched on Wednesday November 15 at ICFAI National College, Bunts Hostel, here, will be an added advantage for MBA, MCA, M Com students to secure jobs in their field of interests.
The syllabus of BFI will also help students to prepare for IRDA, NCFM, AMFI Certificate courses, he added.
Prof E K Gopinath, Prof Savitha Shenoy and Prof Ajay Anchan, lecturers of the college were also present at the press meet.
