Muscat, Nov 14: Bunts of South Kanara origin residing in the Sultanate of  Oman are planning to organize an Annual Buntara Milana ( Bunts Get together) on Friday, 1st December 2006 at Hotel Al Falaj – Ruwi.  This is an exclusive annual function to bring all the Bunts residing in Oman under one roof and present traditional program to entertain each and every one.

As per the recent announcement, the program is scheduled to start at 8.30 am with lots of fun, music, prizes, spot games. Organizers are planning to present a complete entertaining day with food, fun and entertainment.

Prior to this event, there will be  a Bunts Sports Meet on 17th November 2006 at the prestigious  Muscat Club (Al Bustan) Grounds, Al Wadi Al Kabir. This sports event will be for gents, ladies and children in various disciplines.

Cricket (11 players), Volleyball (6 players) and shot put (individual) for men, Throw ball (7 players) and shot put (individual) for ladies and 25 meters to 100 meters races for children of various age groups have been planned on this day. As per the official of Bunts Organizing Committee, all the cricket team players should report at the venue at 6.30 am and other participants should arrive before 8.00 am.
