Kuwait, Nov 14: United Associations of Karnataka, Kuwait (UAKK) will celebrate the completion 50 years of the formation of Karnataka’s existence -  “Suvarna Karnataka Mahotsava” at 5-00 pm on November 24 in Andalus School auditorium (formerly Gulf English School), Rumethia at 5:00 pm.

A high-level delegation from the government of Karnataka and Ambassador of India to Bahrain Balakrishna Shetty are expected to be present at the celebrations. The highlight of the programme would be to honour Kannadiga NRI businessman and philanthropist B R Shetty from Abu Dhabi.

UAKK, comprising of 13 associations of Karnataka, will present a spectacular variety entertainment programme. Entry for the programme is free and open to all on 'first-come-first-served' basis. This being a grand cultural extravaganza, depicting the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Karnataka, for Kannadigas in Kuwait, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
