One killed in Jammu van accident

Jammu, Nov 24 (IANS): One person was killed and two others were injured here Monday in Udhampur district when a poll campaign vehicle met with an accident.

"A van rolled down into a gorge at Bagli in Udhampur today morning," a senior police officer told IANS.

"One person died on the the spot while the two others injured in this accident have been shifted to hospital," he added

Reports from the area said the ill-fated vehicle was engaged in poll campaigning for a political party when it with met the accident.
