Silver Band Harry in KCWA Christmas Event

Kuwait, Nov 15: Kuwait Canara Welfare Association is proud to announce “KCWA Christmas Party 2006” on 8th December 2006 at Carmel School Basement Hall, Khaitan from 2:45 pm to 9:00 pm, winding up with a fellowship dinner Buffet served by Caesars Restaurant.

The highlight of the event will be performance by “Harry’s Silver Band”, renowned brass band of Mangalore for over a century. Seven member brass band led by versatile artist Harry D’Souza will be creating a history as they perform for the first time in Gulf / outside India. The brass band is sure to make the event very special and unique. Local favorite DJ Scorpions will also entertain with latest / popular numbers.

The whole event, dedicated to KCWA Family, especially to children, will have Santa giving away goodies to them, in addition to games & spot prizes for all age groups. Various Game Stalls, Traditional Food Stalls and “Nathalancho Naach” are the specialty of this event. Lots of entertainment, Lots of Games, lots of Prizes and best among all - dance till you drop! So don’t miss the opportunity to witness the most entertaining program of the year.

Among other events will be;

1. Mrs. Mabel & Mr. Sam Alphonso and Mrs. & Mr. Lawrence D’Souza sponsored Merit Scholarship awards for students of X and XII for academic excellence in 2005-2006.

2. KCWA also intends to recognize and honor its member's children who have excelled in various fields other than education. Be it in Kuwait or elsewhere; if your child has excelled in sport, art, music, dance or any other representation in 2005-2006.

3. First Holy Communion received children of our members for 2006 will be honored on the day.

Special members draw will be held for renewal of membership for 2007 and for New members. Hamper draw will also be held with fabulous prizes during the event. The Highest sellers of Hampers will also be honored. Kindly collect the hampers from any of the committee members.

KCWA has also planned to recognize the services of Teachers (KCWA member, spouse or parent) during this function. If anyone is in the profession of a teacher in any of the schools in Kuwait, kindly collect your Free Pass before the deadline.

Entry for “KCWA Christmas Party 2006” is OPEN TO KCWA members, their family and relatives, provided Passes are Collected from Committee Members or at following locations By 30th November 2006. Since the seating capacity is limited, issue of entry passes will be closed before the due date, if sold out. So please hurry up and reserve your passes to avoid disappointment.

Entry for Tiny tots 3 years and below and Senior Citizens 60 years and above (members or parents of members only) is FREE. Entry Passes are available with all Management Committee Members and at following locations;
