Suspected terrorist arrested in Pakistan


Islamabad, Nov 25 (IANS): A suspected terrorist of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has been arrested in Pakistan, media reported Tuesday.

"The suspected terrorist, Mairaj Khan is a resident of South Waziristan and was arrested from Islamabad," Geo TV quoted senior police official Azmatullah Junejo as saying.

Two hand-grenades, a detonator, nine batteries and a remote control have been recovered from him.

A case has been registered against him and teams to arrest his accomplices have been dispatched to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab after initial investigation.
