121-year old votes in Jammu and Kashmir


New Delhi, Nov 25 (IANS): The first phase of assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday witnessed a 121-year-old woman cast her ballot.

Deputy Election Commissioner Vinod Zutshi told reporters here that Noor Bi, 121, voted in Ramban district of the state, becoming the oldest person to vote in the first phase of election.

He, however, said it needs to be ascertained if she is the oldest voter of the state.
