SPG's senior most officer to take charge

New Delhi, Nov 26 (IANS): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet Wednesday directed the next senior most officer of the Special Protection Group (SPG) to take the charge of director until a suitable successor is appointed.

"The charge of director, Special Protection Group, may be looked after by the next senior most officer till the appointment of a suitable successor," the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet said in a statement.
