Udupi, Nov 17: The valedictory of 'We are the World - Our Dreams and Fears,' a national convention for children organised by Little Rock Indian School, Brahmavar, was held here on Wednesday November 15.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr M S Valiathan, former vice-chancellor, MAHE, lauded the school's effort in holding a convention for kids to discuss issues and matters related to them.
A total of 92 students and 26 teachers from 20 schools from Karnataka, Goa and Kerala participated in the convention.
Various competitions were held during the convention in which St Teresa's School, Mangalore, and Navy Children School, Goa won the overall championship in the junior and senior level categories.
Among those present were Prof Mathew C Ninan, principal of the school and George Kurian, coordinator.
