THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, Nov 17:
A Gulf Air flight to Muscat was delayed at the airport after an unidentified caller on Friday said that a bomb had been placed inside the aircraft. The warning turned out to be a hoax.

A team of police officials reached the airport as soon as the call came in, said South Zone Inspector General of Police Arun Kumar Sinha.

"All the luggage and passengers were checked thoroughly. It was a hoax," Sinha said. Gulf Air 461 was supposed to take off at 7.40 a.m.
