Mangalore, Nov 18: Marceline D'Souza (65), a resident of Adkabar near Mooduferar here ended her life by consuming pesticide on Friday November 17.

The Bajpe police station sources said that Marceline had consumed pesticide on Thursday November 16 afternoon.  She was immediately admitted to a private hospital in the city.  However, she died in the hospital on Friday.

Marceline is said to have been under depression for last couple of years now.  She had been provided with apt medication too.  However, she did not recover completely owing to which she took this extreme decision, said sources.

Bajpe police have registered a case in this regard.
