Rons Bantwal for Daijiworld News Network – Mumbai

Mumbai, Nov 18: Jayakar S Shetty (52), vice president, Bombay Bunts Association, passed away on Friday November 17, at Nanavati Hospital here, following a brief illness. He is survived by wife Yashoda and two daughters.

Jayakar was an active member of the technical committee of the Bunts Centre to be built at Nerul here, and also of the administrative committee of JAVAB.

Apart from being a hotelier, he was running the Technomech Engineering Institute.

His funeral rites will be held on Saturday November 18 afternoon at West End Apartments, N Datta Marg, near Four Bungalows at Andheri here, said family sources.

Jaya N Shetty, president, Bombay Bunts Association, N C Shetty, working president, building committee, Shyama N Shetty, working president, sports committee, Balakrishna K Shetty, Ashok D Shetty, working president, advisory committee, Shailaja A Shetty, president, women’s wing, Susheela C Shetty, vice-president, women’s wing, office bearers of the association, as well as office-bearers of JAVAB, expressed their condolences on the demise of Jayakar Shetty.
