New Delhi, Nov 29 (IANS): A 17-year-old boy was arrested for abducting and murdering the minor son of a fruit seller here, police said Saturday.
Six-year-old Ganesh's body was found with his neck slit in west Delhi's Naraina area Friday evening.
Police said the accused abducted Ganesh from near his house in central Delhi's Ranjeet Nagar Thursday when he was playing.
The accused lured the boy by telling him that he will take him to a video game parlour.
The accused also told police that he killed the boy and dumped his body in a park soon after abducting him. The accused then made a ransom call demanding Rs.1.5 lakh for Ganesh's safe release.
Besides, the accused told police that he wanted to buy an i-phone.
