Mangalore, Nov 18: Alva’s Nudisiri - 06, the annual national-level Kannada literary fest organized by Alva’s Education Foundation will be held on November 24, 25 and 26.  As usual the three-day fest will be held at Sundari Ananda Alva Campus., Vidyagiri near Moodbidri.

This was announced in a press conference here by Dr Mohan Alva, the founder president of Alva’s Education Foundation.

Dr Chandrashekar Kambara, former vice-chancellor of Hampi University will preside over the conference while Dr Sidhalingayya, president of Kannada Development Authority will inaugurate the conference.

Dr Alva told the press that the conference will be divided into four important seminar sessions with each dwelling long on the challenges that Kannada language and culture are facing today.

He told that more then 5000 delegates are expected this year.  Unlike previous two Nudisiri conferences, the students will be provided free food and accommodation while 100 rupees will be charged to other delegates.
