11 militants killed in Afghanistan

Kabul, Dec 1 (IANS): At least 11 Taliban militants were killed during a series of operations conducted across Afghanistan, a statement said Monday.

According to the statement, the operations were conducted in Parwan, Balkh, Kandahar, Paktiya and Farah provinces, Xinhua reported.

The militants were killed Sunday night.
