Haryana CM to honour sisters who trashed eve-teasers

ROHTAK, Dec 1 (Agencies): The Brave college-going sisters, who fought back eve-teasers in a Haryana Roadways bus, will be honoured by Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Republic day.

The girls on Saturday gave a sound beating to three men who attempted to molest them in a bus.

The sisters, who are students in a local government college here used to commute from Rohtak to Kharkhoda daily for attending classes. The accused used to harass them in the moving bus.

Three of the accused in the eve-teasing case, which took place in a public bus in Rohtak on Friday, have been arrested.

“After our investigation concluded, we arrested three of the accused who will be produced before the court on Monday,” said SHO of Rohtak police station Gajendra Singh.

Two braveheart sisters fought back the eve-teasers in a public bus in Rohtak earlier on Friday, even as the co-passengers remained mute spectators.

The alleged eve-teasers had used derogatory language and made obscene gestures before the girls retaliated.

An amateur video footage shot by one of the co passengers travelling in the bus revealed the girls being pushed by the men after they protested against the obscene language and gestures.

    Manohar Lal Khattar is excellent! He arrested the crook Rampal!
    he is honoring these girls who beat up eve teasers.. his govt got the driver and condcutor suspended and arrested the ROMEOS... best part is these guys were recruited for ARMY and their recruitment gets cancelled, as army doesnt want such lousy characters!

    Khattar has brought back Khemka, IAS and asked him to get into all the frauds done by Vadra and investigations are on.

    he has also asked to formulate a law to ban cow slaughter in the land of Haryana!

    Impressive and quite brave of the girls. All credit should be given to them and also to their parents.
    Without their support, the girls would have thought 100 times before, attempting such brave fight back.

    BJP never leaves any photo opportunity. Naturally they have take up this, but if they take up the demand of the girls to ban Khap panchayats, that will be a true recognization of their bravery.

    It is quite important to go after the boys and do some back ground check. In a broad day light, that too in the midest of dozens of people, only hardened criminal or politically connected individuals take such risk.

    The sisters deserve the honouring.At the same time it would have been also better if the Driver and conductor should have been asked and filed a case or punishment for not helping Girls in their bus and didnt help as the eveteasers pushed them out of the bus.That should not have happened.The Girls were left alone themselves without any help from bus conductor or Driver,let alone other passengers.Thats what is called helping each other.I just want to tell a Episode happened in Germany lately.Two Girls about 12-16years old were surrounded from two Boys who had some criminal cases in their Charts in a Underground toilets of a am.fastfood rest.and trying to escape and were shouting.As a 22 years old Student heard went there to help,and were released.later when all her friends went out she too went out last.As she was out side all of a sudden this Boy came to her from side ,without warning hit on her head with a knife and her stomach.She fell back was unconcious.was in Hospital didnt wake up.in coma no Operation helped .was a good helpful Girl.On her 23birthday her maschines were stopped as her brain was damaged ,no funktions were there.She had a organ donation pass.Now on friday she died.Boy is arrested.He argues that she fell back when he slapped her and got unconcious.Lot of People were touched with her case and Held a silent watch at the Hospital with a candle.very sad.She was a Turkey fam.girl.so can also end a helping Person.

    If you feel the pinch out of my views don't give political touch (may be so, b'coz you feel it more because you yield your views in support of BJP).
    Remember one thing..., Hindu culture don't advocate violent/aggressive/ retaliatory behavior by women..., that too in public.

    It would have been much better for the fellow Hindu brothers (onlookers)to respond to the occasion & teach a lesson to the perverts (Raksha Bandan very much advocate this).

    The footage only shows a mob of girls beating 3 boys. What triggered this incident nobody knows. Not surprising , due to media propaganda they will be honoured , rather than booked for assault. If such cases are entertained , any one can assault some poor man , record the footage and claim ' bravery' and free publicity.
