P.K. Gupta new Haryana chief secretary


Chandigarh, Dec 1 (IANS): Senior IAS officer P.K. Gupta Monday took over as the new chief secretary of Haryana.

Gupta, a 1981-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, was the additional chief secretary, revenue and disaster management and consolidation department, till now.

He replaces Shakuntla Jakhu whose extended tenure of three months after retirement ended Sunday.

Gupta said that his priority would be "complete transparency and time-bound implementation of all government policies".
