Honda Motorcycle & Scooter logs 17 percent sales growth


Chennai, Dec 1 (IANS): Two wheeler maker Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) Monday said it closed last month 17 percent sales growth as compared to sales registered in November 2013.

The company, in a statement, said it sold 372,036 units last month as compared to 319,082 units sold in November 2013.

For the period April-November 2014, the company has logged a sales of 2,949,850 units up from 2,360,493 units sold during the corresponding period of the previous year.

According to HMSI, it commands a tentative market share of 23 percent for the period April-November up from 21 percent it commanded during the previous years' corresponding period.
