Mumbai, Nov 20: The Sacred Heart Parish of Andheri East organized a VICTOR NITE as part of a fund-raising campaign for the parish projects. The show started at 7.00 pm on the church ground decorated with dazzling lightings. A full audience on the ground witnessed the memorable show.

Parish priest Fr Cyprian Lewis welcomed the gathering and honoured the mentor of the show Victor Concessao, a parishioner. Fifteen songs composed by Victor were presented by various artistes. A special charm was rendered to the programme by well-known comedians Jerry Rasquinha, Joseph Pinto and Arthur Serrao. Benjamin Miranda and his team provided the background music. Dance was presented by  the pre-novitiate sisters of Fatima Mata Sadan convent.


The songs presented during the show were Swagat (group), Amchi Firgoz (Victor), Surio Doriant (Antony and Suchita), Mogrea Kolle (Blanny), Bav-Bhoinni (Charles and Milagrin), Tara (Judy), Afrikache Kafri (Victor and Jaya), Nachonk Mon Yeta (Viveta, Vivera, Mila, Rixen, Robin and Manuel), Mobail (Charles D'Cunha and Denis Gonsalves), ABCD (Victor and Lorna), Qawali (Group), Sundor Ful (Blanny and Suchita), Chovis Voram (Victor, Viveta and Vivera), Polka Nach (Judy and Antony), Gummata (Clement, Denis and Steven).






Dances were presented by Terina, Jestina, Pearl, Joshal Sera, Lavhi, Anita, Cathrine, Jaya, Sarika, Silviya, Steina and Arina, with musical accompaniment by Benjamin Miranda (Keyboard), James Lopez (Clarinet), Theo Alvares (Trumpet), Tony King (Drum), Bhaskar (Rhythm Pad), Bernard (Bass Guitar), Caren (Keyboard) and Edward (Rhythm Guitar)







Rosie Rasquinha from Francis Shipping, the full sponsor of the programme, picked the lucky dip draw. Aliston Lobo of the parish won the first prize. Assistant parish priest Fr Lawrence Correa gave a vote of thanks. Clement Lobo and Steven Lobo  compered the programme.
