New Delhi, Dec 3 (IANS): The Rajya Sabha was adjourned for 10 minutes Wednesday after the opposition demanded the resignation of union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti over her controversial remarks.

The members of the opposition advanced to the speaker's podium and demanded an explanation from the Prime Minster Narendra Modi on the issue.
