Patna, Dec 3 (IANS): The Bihar government Wednesday announced Rs.10 lakh as compensation for the family of CRPF trooper Radheshyam, who was killed in a gun battle with Maoists in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, officials said.

A pall of gloom descended at the Patna airport when Radheshyam's body arrived Wednesday afternoon.
