Islamabad, Dec 4 (IANS): Unidentified gunmen Thursday killed the headmaster of a private school in Pakistan's Balochistan province.
Police officials said the armed men opened fire at the vehicle of Zahid Ali, headmaster of a private school, in Gwadar Bazar, Dawn online reported.
Ali died on the spot and the assailants sped away on motorcycles after the attack, police said.
Ali's body was later shifted to the District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) Gwadar for autopsy.
Balochistan has seen a sharp rise in incidents of targetted killings and bomb explosions.
This incident has come two days after militants targetted the vehicle of Advisor to Chief Minister Balochistan on Education, Sardar Raza Mohammad Bareech, in Joint Road area of the city.
Sardar Bareech was unhurt in the attack.
