Haryana Govt puts bravery award on hold for Rohtak sisters

Chandigarh, Dec 4,2014 (PTI): Within less than a week after the two sisters hogged limelight for thrashing youths in a bus for allegedly molesting them, Haryana government today decided to put on hold the award announced for them pending an inquiry.

"The award announced for the two sisters by the state government which was to be bestowed upon them on Republic day had been 'put on hold pending an inquiry' in the case," Chief Minister's Officer on Special duty (OSD) Jawahar Yadav said.

"Against whomsoever evidence is found action will be taken," he added.

After a video of the girls thrashing three boys in a moving bus went viral on social media and news channels declaring the sisters as 'bravehearts', the Haryana government had announced to honour the two sisters on the occasion of Republic day.

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had said in an official statement that both the girls had shown indomitable courage and bravery by opposing the misdemeanour of three youth who tried to "molest" them in a moving bus of Haryana Roadways at Rohtak.

The two college-going sisters had confronted three alleged molesters inside a moving bus, with one of the girls even hitting the youths with her belt, even as passengers remained mute spectators.

The parents of the two girls lodged an FIR with Haryana police against the three youths informing that the molesters got down at the Kansla village in Rohtak.

All the three youths -- Kuldeep, Mohit and Deepak, were arrested and later released on bail.

A case under section 354 (assault or criminal force with intent to outrage woman's modesty) and section 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) was registered against them, police said.

The incident triggered spontaneous indignation from women rights activists, with National Commission for Women chairperson Lalitha Kumarmangalam asking the authorities to take appropriate action against the accused.

However, the case took a new turn later with four women from Aasan village, the native hamlet of the sisters, giving an affidavit in Sadar police station at Rohtak claiming that the boys were not involved in molestation of the sisters.

now a days it is dificult to help anyone as those who helped anyone itself will come in trouble.

this guy who has been termed as molestor by our so called civilised population did not care to know what really occured.

the boy objected to girls because the lady sitting next to him was ill and these rogue girls were forcing her to get up so that they could sit in thier place.

for protesting this, the boy was attacked and labelled a molestor by the whole nation.even this guys army recruitment process has also been cancelled.

this is what anyone will get in this kaliyuga for being good hearted civil person..

Goverment came out of their ' naarivadi ' somber sleeps , after several women gave written complaint in support of Boys , Rohtak bus employee and owners association went on strikes , thousands of MRA ( men right activists ) protested along rohtak. Sick Media now only concerned about denial of medals to be given to girl goon comrades. Its shame that they gave such a enormous publicity to such girls , to raise their TRP's . Now incident turned out to be fake and girls are criminals , why not they b arrested !? , boys should be given their Jobs back.

Its shocking to see Indian Army taking such decision in hastle , shows growing Misandry . Its Men who make ultimate sacrifice , be it wars or any crisis , so its very sad such plight of boys are taken for ride , just to please some feminist juries and NCW.

who will punish the media if boys are not at fault?!! media branded them everything. I hope supreme court takes note of media ethics and warn them. They just cant get away with their shoddy and extremely damaging journalism. This incident will have negative effect in society if girls fabricated the story

The two girls appeared in all TV channels and some interviewed them without giving attention to other side of the story.Today's reports say that the boy who was thrashed actually requested the girls to vacate the seat (No. 8)which was allotted to a woman who was ill. The Haryana Govt was in a hurry to the award for the girls.

It clearly shows RSS-BJP's anti women policy. Before also they showed their real face against women during Pub attack, Home stay attack etc. Molest women, beating a women not a problem for BJP, they supports it always.

Govt enacts Law to protect the weaker Sections of the Society - just like caste Atrocity Law, Cyber Crime Act, or Protection to Women Law. But the stronger ones among the Weaker Section tend to misuse the Law. This is the perfect example for that. These girls were carrying Belts and Camera which shows every thing was preplanned by these girls.
They had done same thing earlier also and extracted Rs.50,000 from that Victim as compromise amount. These girls should be Punished for taking Law into their hand.

How is that every time these girls thrash a boy the same is videographed ?
Are they taking videographer with them every time ?
This videographing is intentionally done by their own man to blackmail the innocent Boys later on! So the group of these three Girls should be punished for blackmailing people.

real version of story told by women to police.

the bus which these 2 girls were travelling stopped midway in road due to some technical fault.
so driver of that bus put all the passengers to another bus.

may be both buses are of same company and having seat numbers.

the seat number they were travelling in previous bus was occupied by a boy and a women.
these 2 girls upon getting into the bus demanded that they want to sit in this bus as seat number of previous bus in which they sat matches this seat:).
the women intially did not agree but was forced to get up and sit on the tyre of the bus.the boy did not budge.so these girls started abusing the boy.in retaloiation boy also abused the girl.after thie this girl gave camera to one of the women to shoot and unilaterallyt started assaulting the boy.the boy was surprised by this action but kept his cool as never retaliated.
this is the account given by the women to the police.

So absurd of state government deciding to honour these despicable girls for bashing innocent boys. It was per planned as camera Was ready for shooting the incident.also the belts were ready for thrashing the boys. These girls are mentally ill. Need to send them to correction centre. How an the government authorities be so naive as to punish these boys without credible enquiry. Same on Indian system of justice.

News looks one sided without giving proper attention to other side story ( Boys side). Girls are behaving little smart & no passengers are supporting their claim. Gender equality must be maintained in such cases and guilty must be punished.

now will the police take action against girls who manhandled two innocent boys and assaulted them with belts in public.

thats why law should be gender neutral like in china and usa.

these days boys are not saints and also girls are also not saints so that anyone can believe their version blindly.
