Five killed in Pakistan blasts


Islamabad, Dec 5 (IANS): At least five people have been killed in two blasts in Pakistan, media reports said Friday.

The first blast happened in Karani area of Nawagai tehsil in Bajaur Thursday, some 40 km northwest of Khar, that left a man and two women of a family dead, Dawn online reported.

Officials said Siraj Khan, a member of village defence committee, his wife and daughter were killed in the IED blast.

Two activists of the pro-government Tauheedul Islam group were killed in the second blast blast in a remote area of the Khyber Agency.
