PM does not believe in democracy: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, Dec 6 (IANS): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi Friday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of trying to usurp all powers and not believing in democracy.

Addressing a Youth Congress meeting here, he said: "The prime minister wants all power in his hands. The country won't work this way".

He said when Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge was speaking in the house Friday, the microphone was switched off.

"They (BJP) do not believe in democratic process," he added.

Gandhi made a strong pitch for a bigger political role to youths in his party.
