Warm Saturday in Delhi, similar Sunday likely


New Delhi, Dec 6 (IANS): The national capital saw a warm Saturday with the maximum temperature recorded 27.1 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average. The Met has forecast a misty Sunday morning with clear day ahead.

"There will be mist, shallow fog in the morning but the sky later will be clear. However the fog may return in the evening," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum and the minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 27 degrees and 11 degrees Celsius.

Saturday's minimum temperature was recorded at 10.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the maximum humidity during the day was 90 percent.

Friday's maximum temperature settled three notches above the season's average at 27.5 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled at 10 degrees Celsius, a notch above average.
