as u can see the deaths were caused by wearing no seatbelt, india needs to produce ncap certified cars the deaths has been caused by sudden impact of their heads against the dashboard this could have been avoided if there was an airbag present and seat belts were in place, lives could have been saved if was an ncap certified car

wearing seatbelt would have saved all three..as we can see front damage is severe to cause damage the occupants. there is a plenty of space, hence death was not caused by crush but from hit due to non existence of seat belt. my condolences for the family

I appreciate if Air bag comes with a base model but this to is not a complete safety against the accidents. Their are some factors in which air bag is activated. which has to be followed like seat belt. Regarding ABS won't effect the accident, The anti locking brake system the name only describes it the wheel will not lock at once.By seeing the accident even ABS or Air bag cannot save the occupants.

Seat belts while driving should be made compulsory in Mangalore. Well, i agree that cannot avoid a terrible accident. But safety measures need to be taken specially in India where we have vehicles coming both the direction and blindly overtake or exceed speed limits. Airbags should be provided in semi base models in small cars. Only top end models have airbags. Its true that opp vehicle rams at high speeds can be catastrophic. But we need to follow speed limits and safety. Rest all fate.. Sad to see this news.. RIP

    RIP departed souls!!

One thing I have often times noticed that families (devotees) who while either going to or returning after paying obeisance to their favorite Gods, for their well being, suffer such grim tragedies where the entire families are wiped out!! Just last week, at least two similar ghastly accidents occurred on Mum-Pune expressway where almost both the families members got wiped out in one stroke of fate??

    So sad. RIP.
But looking at the pictures it is quite clear that the car was completely on the wrong side & the truck driver has done his best to avoid the collision.

Bro, my moot question is why some 'divine force', to whom they had just payed obeisance, and were returning did not 'protect' them for that single moment, I always WONDER?

Well, that was a comment & not a reply to your comment, sorry about that.
What I believe, that it is ignoring traffic rules cause accidents, not the God.

    Mr.Rudolf,
Everyone doesn't think your way, may be it is positive for them as I always think that there are not so good days in future, as everything around us is deteriorating even environment, which is why God took them away. Please try to think both positive and negative in any aspect.

What is the RTO doing, they are trained for what, whats the use of keeping them, sack them. Every where you can see speed, speed, speed, but no control. Collected tax money should be used to monitor on the speed camera. Very sad for the family all the elders are lost and children are without parents.
