Berlin, Nov 24: Michael Schumacher has said that he can never make a Formula One comeback even if he wants to because the sport will continue developing at a heady pace.

"Formula One is constantly changing," Schumacher said in an interview on Wednesday. It was his first interview since retiring at the end of last season after a record seven world championships.

"The technology, the engines, the rules, the circuits. Once you're out of it, you're out," the 37 year-old told the Sueddeutsche Zeitung SZ magazine.

Even though Schumacher repeatedly ruled out a return to the sport he dominated for so long, a spectacular performance at the end of the 2006 season in which he was second fuelled speculation in Germany he would not stay away for good.
