Sunny Monday in Delhi, Tuesday to be similar


New Delhi, Dec 8 (IANS): A chilly morning gave way to a sunny day in the national capital Monday as the maximum temperature settled at 26.3 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average. The Met Office has forecast similar weather Tuesday.

"There will be mist early morning tomorrow (Tuesday) but the afternoon will be sunny," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 27 and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Monday's minimum temperature settled a degree above the season's average at 10.2 degrees Celsius.

The day's maximum humidity was recorded at 76 percent.

Sunday's maximum temperature settled three levels above the season's average at 27.4 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was recorded at 10.5 degree Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
