Chilly Tuesday morning in Delhi


New Delhi, Dec 9 (IANS): It was a chilly, foggy Tuesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 8.8 degree celsius, normal for this season's average.

Forecasting a clear day ahead, the Met department said fog may return in the evening.

"Tuesday morning was foggy and cold. The day ahead is likely to remain clear," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 27 degree Celsius.

Humidity was recorded at 90 percent at 8.30 a.m.

Monday's maximum temperature was recorded 26.3 degree Celsius, two notches above the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 10.2 degree Celsius, one notch above the season's average.
