Over 11 percent polling in Kashmir


Srinagar, Dec 9 (IANS): Jammu and Kashmir recorded an average voter turnout of 11.28 percent during the first couple of hours in the state assembly elections Tuesday, authorities said.

The Khansahib constituency recorded the highest voter turnout percentage of 19.64 while Sopore constituency was the lowest with 2.39 percent.

Voting is taking place in 16 assembly constituencies in the third round of the five-phase elections to the state assembly.
