Curbs on land use near air force stations


New Delhi, Dec 9 (IANS): The government has placed restrictions on the use of land in the vicinity of Indian Air Force installations, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar said Tuesday.

The minister told the Rajya Sabha that similar curbs had been imposed on land up to 100 meters from the crest of the outer parapet of air force station at Arjangarh here.

The air force station area is spread over Haryana and Delhi.
