Uber officials to be questioned again Wednesday

New Delhi, Dec 10 (IANS): International radio taxi company Uber's Asia Pacific head Eric Alexander will be questioned for the second time Wednesday by Delhi Police, officials said.

Alexander, along with Uber's Delhi and NCR head Gagan Bhatia, was also questioned by Delhi Police Tuesday evening.

A Delhi Police official investigating the case told IANS that they have again called Alexander after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The Uber officials are being questioned after one of the company drivers has been accused of raping a 25-year-old finance analyst employed with a Gurgaon-based company Friday night.

The alleged attacker, Shiv Kumar Yadav, 32, was arrested Sunday evening from Mathura in Uttar Pradesh and was sent by a court to three days' police custody.
